The Near-East Community Meal project is in its 4th year of serving nourishing, creative, accessible food to 40-70 people each Wednesday at the Goodman Community Center. Volunteers with a range of culinary skills come together to prepare and serve a community meal featuring ingredients from the Fritz Food Pantry. Often, these meals are "Chopped" style--with volunteers creating dishes as new ingredients arrive in the pantry. The result is always different and always delicious!
We aim to manifest values of dignity, respect, enjoyment, nourishment and care through this meal. We invite you to join us! Please email us to arrange an orientation night.
The Near-East Community Meal project would like to thank the Willy Street Co-op for their continued financial support.
